Project Sponsorship- Avoiding "top down failure" - PMI UK Chapter.
This seminar explored the role of the Sponsor - what it is and what it is not. We  looked at some common misconceptions about sponsorship and what these could mean to you, as a senior executive or a project manager. Most importantly, we investigated the different facets of project sponsorship such as "leadership", "change agent" and "decision maker" and show how some projects, despite having a great team and a great idea, are doomed to fail from "the top downwards".
